Carl Starfelt finalises Celtic exit as Hoops star waves goodbye after completing La Liga transfer
Carl Starfelt has departed Celtic for Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo after a two year stint at Parkhead.
With the duo at the back, they went one better last season with an undisputed treble, with Starfelt featuring in 28 Scottish Premiership games, scoring three goals. However, with Rafael Benitez's side from the north coast registering their interest and Brendan Rodgers confirming before the game against Ross County that Starfelt could leave in the coming weeks, it was no surprise to see Maik Nawrocki chosen ahead of him.
Celtic said in a statement via their official website: "After two full seasons with Celtic, Carl Starfelt has left the club to join La Liga side RC Celta.
