Carlos Sainz could replace Lance Stroll at Aston Martin, according to Eddie Jordan.
The Spaniard has been heavily linked with Audi , while Red Bull and Mercedes are also thought to be options.
Aston Martin is the latest team that could sign Sainz, with Jordan suggesting that scenario on the latest episode of the “I am telling you I believe that if there is not a place in Red Bull for him, he will join Fernando in Aston Martin - that’s what I believe. I have no real hardcore evidence but it’s a gut feeling and very often my gut feel is a bit different to other people’. It does sound nice, it’s very romantic isn’t it?”Jordan hailed Sainz’s victory - just two weeks after undergoing surgery for appendicitis - as a “legendary story”.
