However, Kerry collapses while unable to breathe, as the team jumps to her aid, while Ash pleads with Donna to tell the truth – though she says there's nothing she can do to prevent Kerry's arrest. Meanwhile, Stevie, who had been listening to Ash's conversation with the police, tells Donna what he's said, though Donna's guard remains up – and does Stevie really believe Ash?
After an encounter with another patient, Donna's mood improves, though when she hears that Kerry's condition has worsened after surgery and that she's in ITU – alongside Ash potentially facing prison – Donna is wracked with guilt.
