Cat Deeley just showed off another incredible spring outfit on This Morning, and her matching khaki waistcoat and trouser set is the perfect chic addition to our wardrobes
It’s official – Cat Deeley’s This Morning wardrobe just keeps getting better and better. The newly appointed host has been stepping onto our screens in some seriously enviable looks recently, and her latest matching set is definitely up there as one of our all-time favourites.
Waistcoats have been having a big moment lately, and although they might seem a little formal, they’re actually surprisingly versatile additions to your wardrobe. You can easily wear them with a pair of loose fitting jeans and some trainers to give a luxe twist on a casual ‘fit, or go smarter with a pair of matching trousers and loafers or heels, just like Cat.
The trousers from her suit are also a great mix of high and low style, with tailored detailing like waist pleats, a front crease and a cuffed hem. However the cargo-style pocket details and loose fit keep them from looking too stuffy and formal, so you can just as easily pair them with a fitted blouse as you can an oversized T-shirt.
