. Transduced cells were purified to required marker intensity and homogeneity as batch cell cultures . All cells were cultured at 37 °C and 5% COin Dulbecco’s modified Eagle medium supplemented with 10% foetal bovine serum and 1% penicillin and streptomycin, and routinely checked for mycoplasma contamination.

The following primary antibodies were used: rat monoclonal anti-mouse total beta 1 integrin ; rabbit monoclonal anti-mouse Cav1 ; rabbit polyclonal anti-mouse PTRF ; mouse monoclonal anti-alpha tubulin ; anti-Cav1 N-20 antibody ; Cav1 SIGMA SAB4200216 ; ubiquitin ; mouse monoclonal anti-GAPDH ; and mouse anti-GFP . The following secondary antibodies were used: Alexa Fluor−488 goat anti-mouse ; Alexa Fluor-488 goat anti-rabbit ; Alexa Fluor-647 goat anti-rabbit .
