CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus said on a media conference call Tuesday that the network will have coverage on these important issues during its NFL Today pregame shows but announcers won’t address their own opinions when the games kick off. The NFL Today is going to have a series of features and interviews about social justice issues and the Black Lives Matter movement, talking to players, coaches and owners about what’s going on in the U.S. Those pieces will see what they’re doing to help improve this situation, their involvement in different communities and how they’re taking positive steps in the country, McManus said.
