Police investigating an attack at a Preston city centre pub have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.
Officers said the incident happened at the Stanley Arms on Lancaster Road. The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered 'significant lacerations' to his head after being punched near to the door of the pub. The incident happened at around 12.22am on Monday . The force has released CCTV pictures of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation and anyone who recognises him or witnessed the assault is asked to make contact.In a statement released this morning , a Preston Police spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this man? We would like to speak to him in connection with an assault at a pub in Preston city centre.
"It happened at the Stanley Arms, Lancaster Road, at around 12.22am on Monday, August 14. A man in his 40s suffered significant lacerations to his head after being punched near to the door of the pub. "If you recognise the man in the image, have information as to who it might be, or witnessed the assault, please email [email protected]."
