With vapes becoming more and more popular across the UK, a new warning has been issued to show why leaving a device in your car can lead to dangerous consequences

The popularity of vaping has surged in recent years, with many considering it a healthier alternative to traditional smoking.

The alarming video, which was uploaded on YouTube and subsequently shared on Reddit, depicts a car parked in a lot suddenly bursting into flames. The cause? According to Ske Vape: "Leaving your vape device in a hot car, even for a short time, can cause serious problems. The heat can damage the vape's battery and other components, posing safety risks and shortening its lifespan."

On Reddit, where only a 30-second snippet of the full seven-minute video was posted, one user commented: "Those lithium batteries are unreliable."
