Celebrity MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace wasn't best pleased by comedian Eshaan Asbar's dishes after the 2024 star tried to serve him undercooked food twice in the competition
Celebrity MasterChef star Eshaan Akbar hasn't impressed Gregg Wallace with his cooking skills after serving him raw chicken on two occasions in the BBC One competition. Fans of the show have jokingly accused Eshaan of 'trying to kill' Gregg with his chicken, which despite being uncooked, kept him in the competition.
Eshaan said afterwards: "I can’t believe I gave Gregg Wallace undercooked chicken twice in one day, that is going to haunt me forever." Despite his food faux pas, Eshaan made it through to the next round with Love Island's Chloe Burrows being eliminated from the competition instead. Another tweeted: "That’s twice now Eshaan has almost poisoned Gregg. Put him through to the next round ASAP." Others weren't surprised that Chloe was axed from the competition over Eshaan: "CelebrityMasterChef Ishan gets two dishes underdone... Twice unlucky! With Chloe in competition he ain't going home!"
After being culled from the contest, Chloe said: ""If any of the others went, it wouldn't have been great." The show continues on Thursday, with EastEnders star Danielle Harold, Gladiator star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Line of Duty's Rochenda Sandall joining Eshaan in the next stage of the competition.
