The Hoops gaffer opted to leave the star defender out of his squad completely midweek against St Mirren with Nat Phillips paired alongside Liam Scales for the midweek 2-1 triumph at Parkhead.
The two sides are back in action following a midweek fixture card under the lights in the Scottish Premiership. The Hoops came from behind at home to St Mirren to secure a return to winning ways after a stalemate with Hibs last weekend at Easter Road while the Staggies claimed a point off the capital club at the same venue after hitting two goals in the final 15 minutes.
