Brendan Rodgers is facing a race against the clock with the transfer deadline fast approaching
The Belgian wants to join Brendan Rodgers ' side before the window closes – and it appears the Bundesliga side are softening their hardline stance on the 20-year-old having previously been holding out for as much as £12m for the midfielder. Celtic have had an initial bid turned down in the region of £6.5m but have returned with a second offer in the region of £9m as they test the resolve of the Bavarian side.
A deal for Mateusz Bogusz also looks set to go to the wire as he is set to be included in LAFC's squad for their clash with Seattle Sounders. Record Sport understands that the Scottish Premiership champions still have an offer on the table for Bogusz - but they are under the valuation set by the Major League Soccer side.
