Feeling inspired? You will be after a stay here
‘A memory,’ he says, ‘to bring Paris home with you.’
Located on the northern edge of the hip Marais district and a 10-minute walk from foodie hotspot Rue Montorgeuil, this hotel is the epitome of modern Parisian design. The décor is sleek monochrome, with splashes of jewelled colours - emerald green and ruby velvet sofas, and copper piping. There are indoor plants everywhere, giving a hip, eco-chic vibe.Every touch has clearly been thought about.
And create I do. I spend my mornings tucked in a giant king sized bed, sipping a black coffee from the in-room Nespresso machine, chewing said pencil as I plan out ideas for my next novel. A winter morning sun bounces off the traditional Parisian façade of the building across the courtyard, brass Juliet balconies lit up with red lighting. The only thing missing from the scene is a Gauloises dangling from my fingertips.
While we visited in winter, it’s also worth noting the hotel’s roof terrace, which offers panoramic views of the stunning city.
