It wasn’t long before Ian was forced to tell Cindy where Peter had gone, using the excuse that he had gone to sort out the mess that the fish and chip shop was in. In reality, Peter’s main goal was to slyly get to know his sisters, though this backfired when Gina Knight thought he was coming onto her.
With Peter gone, Cindy instantly grew fearful that he may be in danger, and resolved to go after him, though Ian was keen to put a stop to that. While in the midst of making amends in Albert Square, Peter received a voicemail from Ian, summoning him home to France.
