A football tournament is being held in tribute to a much-loved coach of a boys’ football club in Lanarkshire who died suddenly earlier this year.

Lesley said: “Tom’s Holytown Colts team has folded because no one was able to take it on, which is a shame because he put his heart and soul into it for a long, long time.
Lesley described the boys at the football team as Tom’s "other family", and their eldest son had played for the Colts team before signing up as a pro-youth at Stirling Albion.A four-team football tournament will now take place in Tom’s memory at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.
