Charles Bronson's plans after prison release - from dreams of 'greasy spoons' to walking on grass
He has been branded the "UK's most violent prisoner" but Charles Bronson insists he is now a "man of peace" as he bids for freedom after almost 50 years behind bars.
The 70-year-old, who was born in Luton, said: “I want release, but if you’re not going to release me, put me in an open prison. I have not walked on grass for over 30 years and I dream of walking on grass.” He recognises that he will still be "very controlled" and will wear an ankle tag even if he is released but he dreams of putting on an art show.
He said: “You take my fish and chips off that menu, I will expose it.” A movie starring Tom Hardy has also been made about Bronson's life and according to him, there were talks for another blockbuster about his life.
