Viewers described him as an inspiration
The Chase viewers have offered their support to popular chaser Paul Sinha after he shared the moment his worst fears were confirmed. The 53 year old took to Twitter to talk about the 'rollercoaster' he has been on in the four years since being diagnosed with Parkinson's.
The quizzer, known as The Sinnerman, uses his social media page to raise awareness of what it is like to live with the condition, Liverpool Echo reports. He said: "I walked into the office of a consultant neurologist. He examined me for ten minutes and then confirmed my worst fears. Since then it has been a rollercoaster. Bad medication, good medication, triumph and disaster."
He added: "Everybody's Parkinson's tale is unique, and I'm grateful that my decline has been slow thus far. "This has enabled me to fight hard on the twin fronts of comedy and quizzing and I'm happy to say that I've never been busier. Life has handed me a chance to be a spokesperson, and I'm determined to continue in that vein.."Paul thanked fans for support as he issued an important message.
