ChatGPT experienced a sudden global outage this morning with hundreds of people reporting being unable to use the popular AI chatbot.
‘We will continue to monitor to ensure the site recovers completely,’ said OpenAI.following the success of ChatGPT-3.When asked about the outage, the chatbot responded saying, ‘As you are able to see this response, ChatGPT is not currently down’.
‘ChatGPT is a language model that can occasionally experience technical issues or downtime due to maintenance or other reasons,’ explained the chatbot. It went on to say that any issues were likely to be temporary and if it persisted, to ‘please report it to the appropriate support team’.
