Chelsea want competition at right-back or right wing-back for the perennially injured Reece James, but are a way off Inter's demands.
Chelsea have reportedly offered Inter Milan €35m for wing-back Denzel Dumfries.
Dumfries, who moved to Inter from PSV Eindhoven for around €15m in the summer of 2021, has impressed in Serie A and for the Netherlands. The report claims that they are demanding at least €55m should a club wish to steal Dumfries away this month. The England U21 international has 20 goals and 14 assists in 79 appearances for the Eredivisie side since breaking into the first team in 2020, playing predominantly on the right wing.
