Matalan shoppers could save around £529 by opting for the high street alternative to Celine's designer sandals
High street retailer Matalan is selling a pair of sandals that could easily be mistaken for a designer brand. The brand's Where's That From Black Norah Single Cut Out Band Sliders are similar to a pair by Celine - but come with a huge price difference.
The two also feature similar colour schemes - black and tan - and a similar shaped strap, which also features gold-tone studs. However, Matalan's shoes are faux leather, while Celine's are made with real leather. The Matalan product description reads: "A chic pair of sliders will take you from the day to a night on the town. Match them with a pair of tailored pants for your next dinner date, or dress them up with some funky leggings. These are just what you need to take your look to the next level."
Marks and Spencer is also stocking the Flat Open Toe Mules for £22.50. The sandals have racked up rave reviews online, with one person writing: "Great little sandal, very comfortable and not expensive and didn’t realise it wasn’t leather but still looks very good."
