At least 26 people have been shot, three fatally, in gun violence across Chicago this weekend, police said.
The 44-year-old was outside at about 7:10 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Milwaukee Avenue when someone approached him and began firing shots, Chicago police said.
Police said the victim, shot in his leg and hip, was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition. The 28-year-old was outside in the 300 block of North Laflin Street when another man fired shots at him about 2:45 a.m., Chicago police said.
