The incident happened on the 100 block of Hoffman Road in Latimore Township
According to the Adams County dispatch, emergency units responded to a special rescue in Latimore Township. A call came into dispatch at 4:39 p.m. for a grain bin rescue on the 100 block of Hoffman Road.
Dover Township Fire Department assisted York Springs Fire Company No. 1 in rescuing a child who became stuck in a grain bin, buried up to his head in corn.The child was found conscious and breathing.Emergency crews freed the child in around 30 minutes time. The child was transported by EMS for evaluation.
