A double homicide investigation is underway in San Jose after police discovered the bodies of a boy and a woman during a welfare check.San Jose police say the stabbing deaths of a woman and her great-grandson were "isolated incidents" and that there is no ongoing threat to the general public.
The woman and young boy were found dead in their apartment at the Vista apartment complex on Parkmoor Avenue near Menker Avenue in the Buena Vista neighborhood.They say they have no information to release about a suspect or motive at this time. "Anytime our community, especially in the city of San Jose, we're a very small city when it comes down to knowing one another, have to experience this type of loss, it can be traumatic, it can be painful," said Ofc. Steve Aponte
