China Central Television won't show this week's preseason games and said it would “immediately investigate all cooperation and exchanges involving the NBA”
SHANGHAI—China Central Television said its sports channel won’t broadcast a pair of National Basketball Association games scheduled this week and that it is reconsidering other cooperation, a sharp escalation of a dispute over a tweet by a team executive last week.
The Chinese state broadcaster said Tuesday that its sports channel decided to suspend broadcast arrangements for the two games and “immediately investigate all cooperation and exchanges involving the NBA.”
