‘I would like to apologise if you took offence to my reaction at the Grammys.. you were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean.’ Chris then added that the ‘organisation’ is actually at fault, accusing it of not doing Black people their ‘due diligence.’ Adding that, after doing his ‘research’, he thinks Robert is ‘amazing’, Chris wrote: ‘You and I should never be in the same category.. two totally different vibes and genres.’The star was initially nominated for his Breezy record ‘Hope you are able to feed your family for life’, he concluded.It’s not known whether Robert replied to Chris’ message, or if he even read it.
However, the now Grammy-winning musician has taken the trolling in his stride, previously sharing a bunch of images to his Instagram Story with the, ‘Who the f**k is Robert Glasper’, message on, adding his own songs to the background and thanking friends for their congratulatory messages.
