The Jaguars Foundation's 2021 coach of the year in high school football is on his way to a new school.
After leading a major turnaround on Main Street, Christopher Foy is leaving the head coaching post at Jackson football — and heading south of the county line.
"It has the old community school feel," he said of Oakleaf, which is only a few miles from his home."You've got the junior high right next door, the elementary school right in the middle of the neighborhood, a little like what we had at Fletcher [where Foy served as an assistant prior to his Jackson tenure].At Oakleaf, Foy takes over after the one-year interim tenure of Marcus Miller, who returned to his full-time duties as athletic director.
