The celebhaunt venue has closed its doors temporarily amid a major expansion of its site in Wilmslow
Popular Italian restaurant Cibo has closed its original Wilmslow site temporarily - amid major expansion plans in the Cheshire town. Bosses announced the closure of its original celebhaunt venue this week, saying the restaurant is closed to diners until "early September".
Meanwhile the restaurant itself had plans approved earlier this year to expand into the adjacent unit to extend their popular all-weather terrace area on Green Lane. They are to extend across to the side of the current building and will fill in the current car parking space with their terrace extension. There are currently hoardings up outside the adjacent building to Cibo on Green Lane in Wilmslow, next to the Grove Arcade.
"In the meantime, feel free to reserve a spot at Cibo Hale or Sasso Disley. Thank you for your continued patronage.Meanwhile the new Cibo Gran Caffe on Grove Street will offer a daytime menu of breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon teas. Although no date has yet been confirmed for its opening. It will operate separately from the Cibo main restaurant that will sit behind it, which is open for lunch and dinner and is popular with the Cheshire town's plenthora of rich and famous residents.

Interleukin-37 is involved in the immunopathogenesis of infectious mononucleosis - Italian Journal of PediatricsBackground Multiple immunopathological responses to viruses are observed in infectious mononucleosis (IM), a manifestation of primary infection with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Protective effects of the negative immunoregulatory molecule interleukin-37 (IL-37) have been observed in various bacterial and viral infections. However, the function of IL-37 in IM remains unknown. Methods Flow cytometry and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to determine the expression of IL-37 in the peripheral blood of patients diagnosed with IM, and the variation of lymphocyte subsets. Furthermore, the associations between IL-37 expression and the percentage of lymphocyte subgroups were analyzed. Results Patients with IM had severe immune dysfunction. The control group had a lower expression of IL-37 than the patients with IM. There were significant associations between IL-37 expression and both the proportion of CD3+T cells and the ratio of CD3+CD4+ to CD3+CD8+T cells. Patients with higher levels of IL-37 expression had lower levels of the liver inflammation indicators, alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST). Conclusions IL-37 may affect the immune pathogenesis of patients with IM infected with EBV, and may have immunotherapeutic benefit for EBV-associated illnesses.
