Motorists have been told to allow for extra time
One lane of a busy Nottingham road has been closed after the emergency services were called to an incident. Middleton Boulevard A6514 northbound has been partially blocked on Saturday, February 4, according to reports at around 11.30am.
Nottingham Travelwise, a traffic control centre, said motorists should allow for extra time, with tailbacks stretching to Queen's Medical Centre. "Lane out on Middleton Boulevard A6514 northbound. Emergency services on scene blocking lane 1 of 2," it tweeted. "Please allow extra time for your journey as tailbacks are currently extending back to the QMC." Traffic monitoring site Inrix reads: "Queuing traffic on A6514 Middleton Boulevard Northbound at A609 Wollaton Road . Travel time is nine minutes."
