A major Watford road has been closed to allow for a crane to be taken down.
Clarendon Road, Watford, has been shut today so that a tower crane at the Regal London construction site can be dismantled using a mobile crane in the road.
Regal London has been responsible for building an apartment block which topped out at 25 storeys, called The Clarendon, at 37 to 39 Clarendon Road.The current work is only set to last today and tomorrow but the closure is listed on traffic management website One Network from April 27 until May 12, for Saturdays and Sundays only.
At the same time, an unplanned road closure has shut St Johns Road 24/7 at its junction with Clarendon Road .Affinity Water began emergency repairs on April 26 and they are expected to last until May 1 according to One Network.
