Cleveland Heights will be able to repair and not have to demolish a parking deck in the Cedar-Fairmount area, key to the survival of the business district
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio - The problem existed before the city condemned the Lennox-Surrey parking garage that sits between Lennox and Surrey Roads, serving Starbucks and the Cedar-Fairmount Business District.“As a business owner, we’re retail,” said Declan Synnott, Parnell’s Pub owner and 27-year Cleveland Heights resident. “We don’t get those days back so every day that we can’t park our customers we lose money.
“That’s good to hear,” said Bob Carroll, a Starbucks drinker. “I got to tell you, these spots fill up insanely fast, It gets crazy so the sooner that happens the better.”“We’re in discussions with the Russos for longer term use of about fifty or so parking spots behind Firestone for the use by the patrons of our businesses in that area,” said Williams.“The complete lack of community regarding where our public customers can park,” Quintrell told council.
Cleveland Heights could have an estimate on the repairs by next council meeting so they can bid out the job and have a timetable for permanently parking the parking issue.Teacher who resigned after her OnlyFans page was discovered says new employer fired her for violating social media policy‘He stole over $500k from me’: Westlake man confronts contractor at his home
