As a safety on defense, he entered Friday with 72 tackles, two sacks and four interceptions for the Cavaliers , who have a chance to clinch a playoff spot with a win over El Camino Real in in their final regular season game Friday.
Gunny has a point. These are unlike the days when he played in the West Valley League. While each transfer may have their individual reasoning, it’s appealing to a mid-major college, like Colorado State, to know a kid has a track record of sticktoitiveness.
