CLEVELAND, Ohio -- For 30 years in Cleveland, Parade the Circle represented the unofficial start to summer. That changed in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic upended, well, everything. Now, after a three-year interruption, the Cleveland Museum of Art announced the return of the artful celebration on Saturday, June 10.
“As we strive to regain normalcy from the pandemic, we are all looking for a positive moment of transformation,” Castellanos Lara said in a press release. “We need a formula to bring us together again. One of hope, change, new beginnings, prosperity— a new way to celebrate life.” “Like the transformation of a dragonfly, we all need change in our lives to grow, self-reflect and adapt to any environment or circumstance we may face,” Castellanos Lara said.
