TV star and singer Coleen Nolan has hit back at claims that Loose Women is a 'toxic environment' behind-the-scenes as she criticises 'women bashing other women'
Coleen Nolan has slammed claims that Loose Women is a "toxic environment", sharing that she wouldn't still be on the show if that was the case.
While Carol, 63, labelled the entire "ITV Daytime Family" as "dysfunctional as they come", she also hit out at the show claiming it had "gone very, very woke." Sharing that there was some toxicity many years ago, but that that has since changed as those responsible have since moved on to other jobs, Coleen continued: "I left for a year, years ago, because I wasn't enjoying it.
The claims about Loose Women come amid wider accusations of a "toxic environment" at ITV daytime TV shows, especially in the wake of Phillip Schofield's exit from This Morning, which saw him admit to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a much younger colleague. The TV star was invited as a guest onto the panel to make amends with Coleen following their public spat on Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother.
