Longtime comedian George Lopez will perform in Sugar Land as part of his"OMG Hi!" comedy tour. Lopez will perform at the Smart Financial Centre June 25 in an 8 p.m. show. Lopez, 62, is known for his comedy which explores themes on race relations and his experiences growing up as a Mexican-American. His career spans several TV shows and films including the well known"George Lopez Show." He is currently starring in the NBC show"Lopez vs Lopez" with his daughter Mayan Lopez. He will also star in the new DC Comics

Longtime AP State Department reporter George Gedda dies at 82George Gedda, an Associated Press reporter whose coverage of the State Department and international relations spanned more than four decades, has died.
