Robert Bruce, 62, was found dead in a storage facility in Red Bank on Friday evening, according to police.
on Twitter after being alerted of Bruce’s death by his brother.
Officers responded to the City Center Plaza Professional Records Storage Facility on Water Street around 6:30 p.m. after someone reported finding a body in a storage unit. Police learned that Bruce had not been seen or heard from in several days, and his family had grown concerned after learning that he may be living in a basement storage unit within City Center Plaza that served as his office.It’s not clear how long he had been in the storage unit, authorities said, and the death is being investigated by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office.
While his death has not been deemed suspicious, according to police, anyone with information is asked to contact Red Bank Police Detective Sean Hauschildt at 732-530-2719.
