It was a big show of support Saturday for Mobile’s top cop who is now on administrative leave. People of all different backgrounds came together at Municipal Park to not only let the chief know they stand behind him, but calling for the current administration to give them some answers. “He’s a good and godly man. He's a good leader, has a lot of ... We see the numbers here. He needs our support,” said Mobile resident Noah Anderson.Prine arrived to cheers talk with supporters before taking to the mic. His words were strong, saying he’s in this position now because he wouldn’t play ball the way city administrators wanted him to.
“Don’t put that on me. We do need to pray for someone who would carry the mantel though,” said Prine.
