Concerns have been expressed over prostitution and anti-social behaviour in a Nottinghamshire town. Nottinghamshire Police are aware of concerns being made from residents in Newark about the night time activity happening around the Maltkiln Lane area of Newark.
"We are committed to tackling the harm and exploitation associated with sex work and we take a victim-first approach with this issue, which is why we also work closely with charities and support groups to ensure women identified as being involved in prostitution can access the network of support available to them.
A 38 year old mum from Newark said: "I heard about it on social media. I don't tend to go out at night time as I have kids.
