The Dons midfielder has left the Granite City for the Light Blues after his contract expired.
Connor Barron has thanked Aberdeen for setting him on the journey that has landed him a move to Rangers.
Both clubs remained locked in talks over a possible deal but Pittodrie supremo Alan Burrows insists the Dons are prepared to take their Scottish Premiership rivals to a tribunal if it means getting the best value for the midfielder. However, all the talk behind the scenes doesn't seem to be playing on the mind of the youngster who has thanked his old club for everything as he gets set to embark on his new journey.
Asked about Aberdeen fans and if he expected an angry reaction, he added: "To be honest, I haven't seen anything. All I do is focus on my job on the pitch. I don't go on social media or anything like that, that's not my job. My job is to go out on the pitch and perform and let the football do the talking."
