Conroe made the playoffs last year last year in a six-team district where there wasn’t much room for error. It ended a nine-year playoff drought with a couple key wins early. “Before we moved into this district, we were in the district with the Klein schools,” Hardeman said. “It was similar.” So far in 2022, Conroe has displayed an offense filled with capable weapons and a defense that has stood firm.
