Deputies have ruled out impairment as a factor in the collision, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
A construction worker was hospitalized after being struck in a two-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon near 175th and Olive avenues in Waddell.
Maricopa county deputies responded to the scene at about 2 p.m. and found that the construction worker was hit during a two-vehicle accident, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. The man was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. No other injuries were reported in the collision.Deputies have ruled out impairment as a factor in the collision, according to the MCSO. As of Sunday morning, it was unknown if speed was a factor.
The worker remained in the hospital as of Sunday morning, and the collision was still under investigation.
