A 51-year-old man from Jersey City was killed Thanksgiving night when his pickup truck hit a median and flipped over on Route 1 in Woodbridge, police said.
Manuel Pujols was driving his pickup truck on Route 1 southbound near Route 35 in Woodbridge around 9:32 p.m. Thanksgiving night when his vehicle hit the median for an unknown reason and flipped over, according to Sergeant Joseph Angelo. Pujols was transported to JFK University Medical Center in Edison, where he was pronounced dead Thursday night. It is unclear if Pujols died when his truck flipped over or after the stolen car hit his vehicle, Angelo said.
