Corrie viewers say Roy's Rolls has been turning their stomachs
Coronation Street fans have been sharing their disgust at the state of the grubby walls in cafe Roy's Rolls, claiming the place is a health hazard.
In one scene where Sarah sat down with grandmother Audrey for a heart-to-heart about her recent affair, viewers found themselves completely distracted from the drama by the grime coating the wall behind their table. Someone else wrote: "Considering how often we see Roy outside cleaning windows, I am surprised how grubby other parts of the cafe are. Mind you nothing has changed or been replaced in over 20 years including the paint. I’m almost certain the 4 pans with the copper lids were there when I did the tour back in the early 90s."One horrified viewer added: "I'd be asking for a different table... I wouldn't be sat next to that grimy mould.
Talking about whether they'd eat there, one viewer admitted: "Yeah I probs would, I’ve eaten at plenty of dirtier looking cafés over the years tbh."
