Carla returned from Spain on tonight's episode
Carla returned to the Cobbles tonight after jetting off to Spain at a time when Peter needed her the most. The trip was her last effort to try and stop her business from going under.
In tonight’s episode, viewers saw Carla arrive back to her and Peter’s flat which viewers on X, formerly known as Twitter called a “pig sty”. The flat was covered with old takeaway boxes.READ MORE: Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver ditches UK with ITV co-star Later on in the episode, Ken rang Carla and asked her to come over as he needed to speak to her. Ken revealed Peter had a “wobble” while she was away. He explained Peter had been drinking again as he is struggling to process the trauma around Stephen’s death.
Coronation Street fans on X were “begging” Carla to be there for her husband. One user said: “Nah i’m sobbing Peter tried to tell her how he felt and Carla cut him off. Carla, realise your husband is struggling, I beg.” Another posted: "So this is the beginning of the end of Peter and Carla?"
