Coronation Street viewers think they have worked out who is behind Bethany Platt's credit card fraud
Coronation Street viewers believe they've cracked the mystery of who's been using Bethany Platt's credit card. The character, portrayed by Lucy Fallon, returned to Weatherfield from London earlier this year, only to discover she'd fallen victim to fraud.
Shady solicitor Joel Deering later offered to provide Bethany with legal advice about the credit card issue, raising eyebrows further. In an upcoming episode, Bethany shows the company credit card statement from Lazaret to Shona in the cafe. Lauren vanished earlier this year and is presumed dead. Despite numerous suspects, it was revealed that her attacker was actually Joel, reports the Daily Star.
Another fan echoed their sentiment as they declared: "Joel Joel Joel! ! ! ! " Another Corrie enthusiast seemed to agree, adding: "I think Joel used Bethany's credit card? " A fellow viewer pointed out: "That's very possible as it wouldn't surprise me if he's trying to frame Bethany."
