Coronation Street fans are convinced viewers could be getting a new DS Lisa Swain family member. DS Lisa Swain, played by Vicky Myers, has been on the ITV soap since 2021 but became a cobbles regular earlier this year, where viewers were introduced to her rebellious daughter Betsy, played by Sydney Martin. Not much is known about DS Swain's life other than the fact she has a daughter, Betsy, and her partner Becky - Betsy's other mum - tragically died.
Taking to Twitter , now X, one person said: ''My aunt' Ok, swarla nation, Betsy has mentioned an aunt… Lisa’s sister? Becky’s sister? Who is she! #corrie'. Meanwhile, a different viewer wrote: 'Betsy has an aunt! New Swain unlocked. #Corrie!' This caused another account to reply: 'THIS IS NEW INFORMATION.' While a different soap watcher speculated: 'I’m thinking Becky’s sister.
