Swain was back on the cobbles Abi Webster was frustrated in Wednesday’s episode of Coronation Street as DS Lisa Swain accused her of setting fire to Stefan Brent’s car and offices. We were re-introduced to Stefan a few weeks ago as part of Abi’s deepfake pornography storyline. Stefan is the father of Corey Brent, who killed Abi’s son Seb in a hate crime attack.
A little while later, her anger grew even more when Swain arrived at the garage and explained the police need to question Abi about where she was when the fire took place. In an interview room, Lisa provided Abi with evidence that confirmed she was outside Stefan’s offices moments before the attack. Abi explained that she hung around for a bit, but then decided to leave.
