Since Leanne first became interested in the cult-like Institute and the charismatic Rowan Cunliffe , Toyah has seen her sister become more wrapped up in the organisation.
In upcoming episodes Toyah receives a delivery of yellow roses, and realises they must have come from Rowan. The significance of the roses means that she strongly suspects that Leanne told Rowan about her dead baby, Rose. Leanne eventually admits she did tell Rowan – but he has denied that he told the police about Toyah burying her dead baby.
