After a soap career spanning over four decades, one Coronation Street legend has now revealed they will soon be undertaking a second exciting new role on the iconic ITV set
After 40 years of delighting audiences on ITV soap Coronation Street as mechanic Kevin Webster, actor Michael Le Vell has revealed he has taken on another brand new job on the soap in addition to his on-screen role. The 59 year old actor has swapped his mechanic overalls to become a tour guide on the new All Star Tours taking place on the iconic Manchester set, which will allow die hard fans to come face to face with their on screen heroes while exploring the cobbles.
Taking place at the weekends only, the tours are designed to give fans a first hand look at some of the most memorable locations used on on the show, without impacting the busy filming schedule that takes place from Monday to Friday, in order to produce the three episodes we see on screen every week.
However despite his unlucky road to love, Kevin currently seems happier than ever with Abi and is still hard at work managing the street's only garage.
