Mason has been released from the Young Offenders centre and was back on the ITV cobbles – but there was a twist in store
Coronation Street's Mason Radcliffe, the notorious bully, has been attacked upon his return to the cobbles. Mason, portrayed by Luca Toolan, first appeared last year and quickly became a source of drama. Viewers were appalled as they watched him torment Maria Connor's young son, Liam Connor . After months of terrorising his peers, Mason earned a reputation both within and beyond the school grounds. The ITV soap took a dramatic turn when Mason threatened Liam with a knife.
In Monday's episode , Stu is stunned to find a bruised and bloodied Mason near the precinct. Unaware of Mason's history, Stu questioned him about his injuries. Mason revealed that it was his brother who had assaulted him. 'One or the other, I've got two,' he disclosed. Feeling sympathetic, Stu invited Mason back to Speed Daal to clean up and eat. Corrie enthusiasts swiftly took to social media to voice their takes on Mason's return.
