Corrie viewers are getting their tissues ready ahead of Monday's episode
Coronation Street's Peter Ash has said a fond farewell to the ITV soap in an emotional social media update. Peter has played Paul Foreman on the cobbles since 2018. In that time Paul, also known as 'Apollo', has won over fans of the show after initially being seen on screen in prison. Paul got a job at Underworld and fell for vicar Billy Mayhew meaning he also became a father figure to his stepdaughter Summer Spellman. But tragically, Paul's happiness was to be short-lived.
And ahead of Paul's final appearance in the long-running ITV soap, actor Peter took to Instagram to say a goodbye. Sharing a photo of himself from his first Corrie appearance, back in 2018, Peter said: 'Paul's story comes to an end in tomorrow night's episode of Coronation Street . Here's my first appearance on Corrie, back in May 2018, as David Platt's cellmate. 'What a ride the last 6 years has been! #CoronationStreet #Corrie #ITV #PaulForeman.
