Following a dramatic Super Soap Week in which Stephen Reid ’s numerous crimes were finally brought into the light, it was Peter who finally ended the killer’s reign of terror – by running him over. Peter had turned the corner and seen Stephen holding a broken bottle to Jenny ’s neck. Believing her life was in danger he floored the accelerator and headed straight towards Stephen, who was killed outright.
Has Peter taken it? ‘As we know Peter has been through a lot and there is no doubt that he will be tempted to drink which really would be a decision to kill the pain and kill himself through alcohol, he knows that,’ Chris Gascoyne explained.
